When Michael Jordan flew in his own nikes sneakers, he wasn’t just the most stylish man on the court; he was of course, the best performer.With all of the performance enhancements that have been developed since the widely loved OG Jordans were originally constructed, it’s hard to pass up on new, performance-oriented kicks when heading to the gym. However, with recent developments from JB, like the Air Jordan Alpha 1 and Air Jordan 2.0, it looks like we’re poised to see our favorite classics receive modern makeovers.

Could more models be next? We can only hope and, as we’ve done in this feature, speculate. Almost three decades have passed since His Airness first laced up his signature Nikes on the court and though different styles have come and gone, his retros remain in demand. Yet, few of them remain court-ready by today’s standards.

Is the Nike Air Force 1 Denim/Bronze the most anticipated Air Force 1 release of the year?We're closing in on Saturday, which is the official Nike Air Force 1 Denim release date, and spots that are getting them are starting to post some really quality pictures.You will have to anticipate it a little longer now. We have learned the Nike Air Force 1 Denim/Bronze will now release on May 28, 2011 at select retailers nationwide.

Above and below the cut, check out the über-premium AF1, which features a high-quality deep denim over the upper contrasted by bronze stitching, while the white midsole and gum outsole finish the shoe off nicely. This highly praised Air Force 1 nikes sneakers features an obsidian denim material for the majority of its upper, while metallic bronze hints (Swoosh border, contrast stitching) provide nice, detailed color contrast.

Lastly, the Air Force 1 is equipped with obsidian waxed laces, an off-white midsole and a gum bottom. As stated earlier, the Nike shoes Air Force 1 Denim/Bronze will now release on May 28, 2011. Stay tuned for more release information regarding this shoe.

Nike Air Maxes 1 Fall/Winter 2011 collection

It kind of feels like Air Max 1 drops have tapered off recently, but that certainly won’t be the case in the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. The Nike Air Max 1 is legitimately one of the greatest nikes shoes (for everyday wear, anyway) of all time, so new design themes on the shoe are always exciting. Spring 2011 will see Nike opt for largely tonal looks, combining suede and canvas over the upper with white Swooshes and matching midsoles and starkly contrasting outsoles.

Hitting nike store near the end of the year are no fewer than four really dope colorways (so far), one going a little crazy in terms of design, with the other three keeping it relatively simple. The out-there design goes for black leather over most of the upper, with a star-like pattern on the white inlay.

The initial colorways will be yellow/white-blue and brown/white-pink and, while there’s no official release date yet, stick with shoes-website.info for nikes sneakers udpates. The three others stay classic with the color-blocking, although two feature a unique netting on the inlays. The Nike Air Moc has been sandal-ized for summer. Though they feature the same rounded outsole, pull-cord laces and general potatoe-sac shape of the Nike Air Moc the sandal version sports a completely remixed upper with cut-out portions, stripes and an odd toe box. Overall: super weird, just as they like ‘em in Boston.

After already having presented the Air Force 1 High Hyperfuse, we finish our Fall 2011 preview of the series today with the Nike Dunk High Hyperfuse.

Once again Nike applied their Hyperfuse technology, building the upper of the sneaker with heat and pressure, rather than traditional cut-and-sew methods. The outcome is a lighter, stronger and overall better performing version of the iconic Dunk.

Once again old meets new in the Nike V-Series. Though the Nike Lunar Venture + uses the retro lines of the Venture on the top, the construction is very modern with laser-cut panels and Lunarlon sole. Light, comfy and clean runners for summer. Caliroots has ‘em.

Nike presents the Free Waffle AC, a barefoot-inspired sneaker that takes cues from the ’90s – blending an old-school suede and mesh upper with today’s Free 5.0 outsole. Available in grey/black, black/black and black/red through NikeStore. The one pictured above is our choice.

Nike Sportswear Air Flow

After several previews we can give you Nike’s official story on the new Air Flow sneakers.

Coming off the successful 1982 launch of the Nike Air Force 1, Bruce Kilgore was making his mark as one of brand’s top young designers. Known for his design versatility, Kilgore experimented with patterns, materials and construction that were revolutionary for the era.

Born in 1989, the Air Flow was Kilgore’s statement solution to provide runner’s with what they needed – a breathable shoe combining new cushioning with superior comfort and support. With comfort inspired by a plush Teddy Bear, Kilgore literally used the stuffing for the sole of an early Air Flow prototype. The concept evolved and with an upper reminiscent of Nike’s original marathon shoe, the Nike Sockracer which coincidentally had no outsole, blended with a new outsole featuring flex grooves and responsive cushioning.

The breathable and minimalistic upper construction of the Air Flow inspired future Nike running shoes including the Huarache, Presto and Free. Built to withstand the rigors of a marathon, yet bold enough to turn heads worn casually, Nike Sportswear will re-release the Air Flow for the first time in June in two original colorways fitting of the late ‘80s — Lush Teal/Varsity Purple-Summit White and Bright Cactus/Black-Blue Glow.

Nike Air Force 1 High ‘Hyperfuse’

We continue the preview of the Nike Hyperfuse Pack for Fall 2011. After having showcased the Air Max 1 Hyperfuse yesterday, we take a look today at the matching Air Force 1 High.

Somewhat simpler in terms of colors, the Air Force 1 comes in an all black colorway, also applying the Hyperfuse technology to the upper. The ankle strap is reflective, though only noticeable at a closer look.

Nike SB Dunk High ‘Cheech & Chong’ Available

Last month it was announced that these were supposed to be canceled, well it looks like they still got out there. Premier received a shipment of the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Cheech & Chong’, certainly one of the most anticipated SB releases in some time. Also dubbed the ‘Cinco Del Mayo’ Dunk High SB, it comes with a white canvas upper and paisley accents.

Yesterday we gave you a first look at the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse. The technology first introduced by Nike Basketball, makes its way into the lifestyle footwear section of the Swoosh brand. Today we continue our preview and take a look at the first two upcoming colorways of the Air Max 1 Hyperfuse.

Once again both sneakers make use of the new technology, using heat and pressure to bind panels, rather than traditional cut-and-sew methods. The sneaker comes with a mostly mesh upper in dark grey/royal blue and light grey/pink.

Nike designers first introduced the new Hyperfuse technology in 2010 in basketball. Breathability, weight and stability were the two main ingredients that the new technology was supposed to solve. The three layers of the technology are fused together, using heat and pressure, resulting in a level of precision that is impossible to achieve via traditional cut-and-sew methods. The result is not only a new technology, new features, but also a new look.

For Fall 2011 Nike fused the Hyperfuse technology with one of their most iconic running and by now lifestyle sneakers – the Air Max 90. Today we preview the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse in two colorways, releasing later this year.

Nike Lunar Vapor 8 Tour – French Open 2011

The latest development from Nike Tennis is the Nike Lunar Vapor 8 Tour, a shoe created with Roger Federer’s game in mind. Featuring full length Lunarlon foam cushioning, a Flywire upper and extra durable rubber in the outsole, the shoe delivers an ultra-light, ultra-strong shoe with superior grip and responsive cushioning. And they look damn good too; another successful mating of form and function from the Swoosh.

Yesterday we present already two canvas Nike Tennis Classic AC Premium from the new Nike Sportswear Vintage Clay tennis inspired range. Today we present the Tennis Classic AC Premium LTR QS Pack from the same Vintage Grass collection.

Once again Nike Sportswear presents two very clean looking sneakers. Premium leathers are featured on the upper, with the Swoosh being perforated rather than embroidered, only adding to the clean lines of the shoe. It comes in white and in light brown, both featuring green accent lines on the mid-sole. The sneakers are releasing at select retailers on June 3rd, 2011.

Today we take an early look at two Nike Sportswear Sky Forces from the Fall 2011 Collection. Both the Sky Force Hi and Sky Force Low have been inspired by two iconic NBA teams. While both feature a white leather base, accents are set on the low top with the Chicago Bulls colors and on the high top with New York Knicks colors. Look out for a release later this summer.

Nike SB Blazer CS ‘Dual Swoosh’

We’ve got a little bit of a 3D-theme going on here with dual red (on the outside) and blue (on the inside) leather Swooshes. Beyond that, this latest Nike SB Blazer CS includes an all-grey suede upper and a white midsole. We’d like to think the CS stands for Chopped-N-Screwed. In reality it’s Custom Series, even though they are chopped, physically. Shelta has ‘em.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium ‘Denim’ – Another Look

We take another look at the much anticipated Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium ‘Denim’. The iconic sneaker comes this time with an entire denim upper and beautiful contrasting gold stitching. Further details include the leather tags on the tongue and branding on the heel. The gum outer sole is the perfect round off for the sneaker, which is set for a release on May 20th, 2011.

Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka Motion 11K ‘Leopard’

Today we can finally show you some detailed images of the new Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka Motion 11K  ’Leopard’. The mid top sneaker comes with an all over faux leopard fur, along with white woven parts. The Air Footscape Woven Chukka Motion is part of the 11K pack and is getting into stores now.

Nike Air Max Light “Black Denim”

Yet another interesting Nike Air Max Light has released for Summer 2011. Featuring a mixed mesh/black canvas with denim finish upper, accents are set in childrens blue on the running sneaker. The colorway is now available exclusively at JD Sports.

Nike Sportswear Tennis Classic AC Premium ‘NSW Vintage Clay’

A beautiful sneaker will release from the Nike Sportswear Summer 2011 Collection. The Tennis Classic AC Premium comes in two colorways next month, as part of the NSW Vintage Clay range. It features a canvas upper with matching tonal suede Swoosh. The leather logo tag on the tongue and red line on the mid-sole are nice design details on the otherwise very clean looking low top sneaker. This is already one of our favorite low tops of the season.

uniform experiment x Nike Sportswear All Court Mid – A Detailed Look

Today we can give you the first detailed look at the upcoming uniform experiment x Nike Sportswear All Court Mid. The mid top sneaker comes in two colorways, one featuring a color chart pattern on the heel and the other one featuring an all-over star design. Both feature navy uppers and white outer soles. The star version of the sneaker is exclusive to Sophnet stores, while the other one also drops at Isetan. Both sneakers release in Japan on May 14th.
