The Blazer is one of Nike’s oldest models and has, for the most part, been kept true to form. However, with the removal of the Swoosh, addition of a rubber toe cap, and incorporation of a side panel zipper, this model has evolved from a nike basketball sneakers to a lifestyle shoe. Besides the aforementioned elements, this pair is predominately white with hits of black in the form of tongue branding.
One more addition seems set for the zip-up Blazer department, as the Summer 2011 line looks to add three new colorways of the Mid AB, the nike shoe we saw debut a couple months back featuring the standard Blazer silhouette—laces included—but with a zipper running from midsole to collar. After the initial success of the nikes shoes, a (leather) white/green, (suede) blue/white and (suede) green/white will be added to the collection, expected to hit stores over the next couple of weeks.
